I don't think FPS mode is that much of a problem. I remember when I started to play TASpring and it didn't have any sort of restrictions on aiming in FPS mode. That was devastating bordering on unfair. I was able to shell a guardian with a morty on a hillside, sitting way out of the guardian's range...
