NO, I'm sorry you don't understand. it's like a freaking curse man. I've tried unmodified source yousing several different compiling platforms rather it being proffesional or open source. I can't get ANYTHING to compile. Even if it compiled before with the exact same everything. IT JUST DOESN'T COMP...

The MechaMan Returneth
Ok, sorry to keep you guys hangin' I was at an impass. 1. My computer sucked ballz (1.7ghz dell with a onboard 8mb gfx card) 2. I've never used a 3d program before (confuszed as F@#$) 3. I seem to have some sort of curse or something, but I cannot get ANYTHING to compile. It's weird, even if I don't...

First off Pxtl, please do not insult me and my friends UBER knowledge of Robotech. I know a VERY LARGE AMOUNT, it's just that I wanted to start small, and I only really like the Mechas in the first season of Macross, I might add some of the other Animes used to create Robotech, and the Sentinel seri...

My project is most definitely going to need more than two races. possibly even fore than 5..... but that has yet to be seen. So there is at least 1 project that needs this feature, I'd do it myself but I'm still new to the whole ta spring thing and I want to learn more about the units and the script...

Robotech/Macross Mod: Help would be liked
Well, My main plan is to eventually make a entire Super Robot Wars mod (I doubt ne one here even knows what I'm talking about), but that would be too complicated right now, so I want to start off with a Macross mod at first, for that's my Favourite Mecha Anime. Macross is very well known in the stat...

Ok OK... I had a cool idea.... but highly unlikely to ever work. I have seen this in a few games and it worked well in that..... What if the Stargate didn't lead to another location on a map..... but to another MAP! Multiple map warping!! That'd be freaking awesome! Allot more like Stargate! I doubt...

I don't think there are any maps over 30 MB yet in the new map format, and only a handful more than 10 MB. We've had far fewer problems getting maps on FU since the NMF was created, since the maps come out to a smaller filesize and people are able to upload them on their own. Sorry I haven't instal...

Ok, the graphics are decent, ecspecialy considering it's 100% Open Source. But there still not any good compared to any modern game with the same cpu requirements. I'm just saying that the graphics for genblood's map is good enough as long as it's still fun to play on. I turn off 60% of all this eye...

By sprite you mean the legs or chasis right? Cause from what I've noticed Spring doesn't seem to have any sprites (sprites being 2D pictures/animations as opposed to 3D models with textures.) I used the wrong terminology, sorry, but what I meant was the unit's position as a whole, not just the 3d m...

one simple problem, TOO DAMNED SLOW Most maps are FREAKING HUGE with WAY to high quality graphics. 30mb AT LEAST. With a conventional upload, even with high speed, it will take a WHILE to download. If it had some sort of reliable link or transfer service this may be possible, (bit torrents if the po...

Seriously guys, what's with all the bitching? He can do whatever he wants HOWEVER he wants, who gives a shit if they don't look all that good, frankly everything in TA Spring looks like crap, but I'm interested in it for the new interesting modes of gameplay, and more importantly the freedom to be a...

Well for the strafing idea, well instead of trying to turn the turret and the body at the same time in different directions in order to keep an eye on the enemy (which is annoying at best), why not (for non strafing vehicles only), when you hold down the right/left strafe button, you just change the...

no one said ne thing bout baning him from the forums, we were just saying that we should have an option for the host to ban people from their server if they don't like them. I personally, think it's a reasonable request. I'm sure that if hes ne sort of respectable person he only used Tanelorn as an ...

I'm not entirely sure if I'm understanding this correctly, but wouldn't the speeds not increase that much for the fact that the path finding only increases with the units? If the maps are bigger that wouldn't necessarily mean that the troops would move to through the entire distance of the map, and ...
