Btw: I can't seem to connect to hosts using NAT traversal (fixed ports version that is, don't know if it works with hole punching)

Yeah, right now, kinda nothing works, but Betalord said he would change hosting back to the old system where you just have to forward a port and everything works perfectly. (Neither UPnP nor the answering of ping requests is the reason for this buggyness btw)

I completely agree with SwiftSpear ... Besides implementing a procedure like "if player is host and player is idle then mark open game as idle" or something like that shouldn't be too hard. Of course Betalord should first fix the hosting system back to the way it used to be so I and others...

Btw: 0.67b1 is the version where the way hosting works has been changed.

The change of the executable can't be the reason since the problem remains with the firewall being disabled. ok, 0.18 doesn't need any more ports forwarded, most of your problems should be solved now. Can you please explain in detail what has been changed there? I can't find the details anywhere and...

Well I have ports forwarded and I used to host games for months but since the last update it doesn't work anymore.

What has been changed exactly with the last update concerning the ports for hosting a game? That's quite annoying ..
