No longer able to host properly after 0.67b2

As of 0.67b2/b3(don't know which as they were so close together), I have been unable to host properly. When I start the game, only about half of the people make it in. It makes no difference if port 8452 is forwarded or not. Previously, I had been able to host perfectly with port 8452 forwarded through my two routers. What was changed that could cause this?

Well, that was the b1 update in november. I just started having this problem the past few days.

100% the same problem here.

Except the problem started with 0.67b1 for me. Weird.

Btw: 0.67b1 is the version where the way hosting works has been changed.

and better support for multiple players behind the same firewall.

That's from the beta 2 changelog, maybe it has something to do with it?

I tried turning on UPNP on my router and in Win XP and I still couldn't host, but I got this weird error. A couple people connected and subsequently lost their connection. Then I got the error: "Server: Warning got playername msg from 1 claiming to be from 4". All the while players got a "Connecting to server" message.

I've got the replay if you want to see it. You can see people connect and then disconnect.
