Also, yeah, Classic TA 5.6. There would still be a lots of stuff to fix, like all the collision sphere, all the stuff related to targetting the center instead of the base, etc... I'd like to say I'll fix it one day but that would be lying. I'd like to say "someone else take up from there and fix what's left to be fixed", but I don't trust anyone to respect TA, and would get angry if someone released something called Classic TA 5.7 with stuff like stats changed or TA flaws fixed.
I don't get that. If the weapon don't behave the same, find a way to fiddle with the weapons tag to force Spring to behave closer to TA, but don't pretend just compensating by changing the unit cost will result in same gameplay. It stumps that people that pretends to be modders, like Tired or Caydr, can fall into thinking all that mattered for gameplay and balance is the effectiveness/cost ratio, and that as long as it's preserved, gameplay is the same no matter how differently units act.If you want OTA balance, then use that as a base and just edit the health, E & M costs of each unit.
