Hi Ace, I'm glad you're still around. I'll get your those source files when I get home from work around ~8pm EST. I have one PNG file that has everything in it. Will that do or do you want me to cut stuff out and give it to you that way? Is there anything else you need? Any icons/buttons/whatever? J...

Ok. I got 3do, played around with it and got a hang of it. I can't seem to find the TA units though. Is there another program I need to extract them or how does this work? Where do I get the units?

Thanks for the help! :-)

I like it just the way it is. I think tanks *should* get stuck in holes after being fired upon. The bigger the explosion, the bigger the hole. That's why they get stuck in the first place. Think of it this way; its a futuristic very heavy, very armored tank. A huge shell hits it/next to it, the tank...

I'll be glad to make some textures. I just need to figure out what program to use to open TA units and apply new textures to them. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Reading the map making guide right now. :-)

I'm glad you guys like it :o The reason I made "sample2" is because the first one looks sort of busy and the 2nd one is easier to look at if you will. I'm down to make buttons for the in game menu as well (attack, move, etc) just tell me where to send them :-) Edit: Also I've been thinking...

I don't know if Ace is still working on the battle room but I took the liberty to make some icons/buttons for the screenshot he posted. I'm not sure how hard it would be to change the drop down buttons but I made them anyway. Here are some first samples: Original: http://cgdstudio.com/pics/springgui...

Hi everyone, I'm new to Spring and this forum but I'm a veteran TA player. I found Spring only less than a week ago and I'm loving every second of it. I would like to thank everyone who took their time to make Spring what it is today, an awesome RTS with limitless possibilities. I would also like to...

I've found that the best way to completely confuse your enemy is to start shelling his base with HIGH TRAJECTORY there's a way to switch how a weapon fires? i'm confused, please explain. What i'm understanding is that there is a way to make a bertha shoot straight at the targer or shoot at a higher...

It would be possible if you were allowed to build on mountains... right now you're not. The whole point of this thread is wether or not to allow it. I say its a bad idea based on my agrument. If there was some cost involved in "leveling hills", I guess it would be ok but it would still lea...

real quick? on Small Divide it takes FOREVER even with NUKES! to make it passable for tanks!!! well, that's the way the map designer wanted it. What I'm saying is that if you could build on mountains, you could start a building on the lowest part of the hill, cancel it, move a little bit more in to...

I don't think this is a good idea. It might get exploited. For example, you give the order to build a large building on a mountain, the ground would "straighten out" and you cancel right away. Now you have a "hole" in the mountain. You can keep doing this until the mountain is co...
