Hey, i have recently found what i believe is the easiest way to map. using a blender 3d! first design your map in blender, pretty simple stuff there. start with a mesh plane, subdivide it 4-5 times, shape it how ever you want. using the distributive edit tool can be great for this. Hey ive been playing off and on again for a while now, and am unsure whether this has been created yet, but "execute plan" script would be really useful. how i would of though that it would work. you first group units, then use the lua ui to set a path for the units, you can do this with every group...

nonono, your totally wrong :'(

its just a button + mouse movement, ie move mouse left, get rotate left, move mouse tight get buildign facing right
move mouse forward you get building faceing forward, although north south east west..
