This sounds like Core vs. Arm just a bit too much.

Just because it's well-known doesn't mean it's good, either.

I don't, especially on large maps. That means I have to build flak cannons in huge layers to prevent from getting my commander blown to pieces because fighters hate my guts in NOTA(the fuel doesn't help because by the time I know that bombers are coming for me they're only barely in the air and won'...

When the only real counters are artillery with longer ranges(lol, coastal guns) and air(I DESPISE PLAYING AIR), there's something wrong; fast, quick units were always meant to knock out unsupported units like that.

I really, really don't; the common sense counter gets blown to pieces because they have low health and artillery damages them in large numbers thanks to AOE; it's very, very hard for me to stop about twenty mobile artillery units with forty light tanks/other fast units thanks to the AOE.

The ONLY thing that really pisses me off at this point is that infantry get violently raped by artillery at any range. I guess I'm just not used to it, but it shouldn't take a hundred infantry supported by a few draw-fire tanks to take out ten artillery units.

There isn't much believability in eighty infantry units being devastated by five mobile anti-ship guns, though.

Is it just me, or do coastal defenses brokenly powerful? Seriously, the things outrange Guardians and do more damage than them; it pisses me off when I can't do anything about the game because someone spammed them on high ground when I didn't have any such opportunity.

Is anyone planning on making a graphical upgrade to the Hacker side? They feel a bit unfinished compared to the System's polished look, but it's only a visual complaint. The Trojan, the DoS, and the Bug all look like they're untextured.

There's nothing wrong with that. Spring used the zoom function from SupCom and put it to good use; what harm did it do? None. None at all. Our zoom function predates supreme commander, we were definately the first ones to allow zooming out to view the entire map at once. However we did take the zoo...

Shadowrun is probably the obvious one; it's one of the most popular pen and paper games.

And, of course, it's going to become even more popular when the lore-raping Xbox 360 game comes out.

There's nothing wrong with that. Spring used the zoom function from SupCom and put it to good use; what harm did it do? None. None at all. Furthermore, the main problem I've noticed is that a lot of people who hate Starcraft seem to hate it without any reason. I have my reasons and could state them ...

I all know that. That build is made for some fast raid attack. Soon I will implement a tier 2 thing. But first I need to control all the best posibilities for a tier one. It ins't easy to make a decent config. It is just a tasklist that is run trough every time, so you can't say: mmm lets wait 5 mi...

And yes, you do need to give it a gold ring just for the reference.

With money maps there were too many units, especially with the 12 unit selection, but without them there weren't enough for my tastes and they built too slowly either way. That, and the 5 unit queue was annoying; I like to fire and forget then pick them back up once they're done, not continually che...

http://kein.praeon.net/wtfman.PNG See the messed up display? The game overlaid Peewees EVERYWHERE the AI wanted to build or had buildings. It caused my FPS to dip down to 1 and slowed the game down to a ridiculous point. What caused this? I used Goidse's AI and the thing spammed LLTs, Wind Generator...

Finite resources make your strategy more important. If your plan dosen't work you just wasted a finite resource. So this in turn makes scouting/hiding from your opponent a great deal more important. Its mainly the people who complain about micromanagement who don't understand micromanagement. The p...

If infinite resources is letting the game turn into a porcfest, you're doing it wrong. That's not the game's fault, it's yours for not curtailing their resources early on with quick raids. Play a non-metal map, especially one that's not Speed Metal; if a noob porcs, GRAB THE METAL SPOTS HE DOESN'T A...

Trepan, you are a brilliant, brilliant man and I wish I had half the talent you do.

Man, this could change the early game by leaps and bounds.
