Underwater units+
Now I read the Wiki carefully rather than skimmed it... Sorry for any repeats that you made on me... Now, on the subject. There are few water units in this mod. I know it is ground combat oriented, but fighting on Earth also took place under water... ;-) Maybe that's the category of units/buildings ...

Directionality, Linux and mods
I applied the patch to a Linux source tree and it works. A few comments though... I haven't seen units reorienting in some factories, ie AA 'Kbot Lab' or Gundam factories. It seems that this is factory specific, those that do not rotate the produced units do not have them reoriented properly, althou...

Wasn't there a bug that actually limited few units to only 100? Maybe by combining that 'ex-bug' with the parser that only sets the values everything is already there? I don't know about the grups, but that would be the first step as it would implement the limits/restrictions on single units (ALEX, ...

I think it is perfectly possible to make a mod/unitpack that gives such possibilities. In AA there are 'Water Plane' and 'Hovercraft' factories that stay completely submerged until they start building. You can also have units that have underwater weapons, and not necessarily torpedos.
