If we had Gaia player at last, there could be neutral buildings to be captured i. e. an old, but functioning powerplant, metal mine, radar tower, an incinerator which converts metal to energy etc. However, it would need mod changes and scripting, but I think this is basically possible.

The map looks great indeed. The only downside I found is that it's unplayable when reflective water is turned on (I just couldn't see a thing, though it looked even better than with normal water). And yeah, the skybox is amazing.

Episode One costs $20 (11-ish pounds for us Brits! Though Valve will proably charge us £20 too, the gits) There's apparently no justice in pricing, here in Poland Earth 2160 costs 9$ (limited edition with all bells'n'whistles, they added a motion sensor, a soundtrack CD and a poster) or 6$ (&quo...

I have a camera like that on my machine but I havent got it working as well as I'd like it to Can you host a modified part of source which does this? And which source file has to be tampered with? I have some idea how can it be done (in general, you move the camera on the surface of an invis...

1. Is it possible to add some sort of user-controlled unit designing in a mod? I mean of something like in Earth 2150 and 2160, where the units are assembled by player using researched components, i. e. you choose a carriage and then add weapons, engine, shield generators etc. to it, chosen form wha...

This firewall thingy sucks but i can't just turn it off. If you can't just turn it off, it really sucks indeed  I think you should ask your ISP how to set up port forwarding correctly. Note that forwarding ports can and will lower security (if you have a firewall, it's the difference between ...

This buildpic bug is more general, when you try to issue a reclaim area order to some con unit using not the left mouse button, but right mouse button, strange things happen... Center of the circle is a fixed distance off-screen no matter where you click and drag. This is when using rotatable overhe...

I noticed there is actually some info on those topics, but it's not in the right place - everyone wants to write an ultimate Spring guide which solves all the problems of material world, but no-one wants to write something on some specific topic (i. e. usage of some unit) as one thinks that this is ...

Unit info

I see that the wiki right now is mainly about modding / general usage / development. What about adding some info about existing units and their most effective usage? Or some common strategies (comm bombing, early rush, raiding, swarming, etc.)? At last, Spring should be more player-focused than dev-...

I think that today these factories are "near" the surface  But this not would be a trouble Graatz  It looks stupid when an unit is built and then falls through the floor of the construction building on its way to the bottom. A factory on the seafloor would look more convincing...

The underwater behavior will be a major problem, i. e. You can't just set the level of subs to something higher, because if you build a shipyard in shallow water the sub will be built under the terrain :/ It also looks terribly. Amfibious units are also a trouble, their factory should be built on th...

Get MS Antispyware first (if you have a not-so-genuine Windows it can be hard as they fixed the LegitCheckControl ActiveX control hack, try eMule). It's useful even without those problems you have. Having done that poke around the options, check if IE has the correct proxy settings. If your proxy di...

Few tips to greatly improve realism: 1. Currently only the ships are deforming the water, and without them skimming across it's dead flat. That looks as if the whole world is enclosed in a windless chamber. Add some non-stop "deformators" to simulate wind blowing over the water 2. Some &qu...
