Summary | 0001957: Black / white flashes around the map edges and in all water bodies when bump mapping water is enabled.
Description | Short description: As the title suggests. If I zoom out or plan a game on map with large body of water, once every 5-60 seconds, both the spaces around the map and the water turn white and then black. (Most likely two consecutive frames) and then resume to normal with no visi Disabling the water bump-mapping seems to eliminate the flashes.ble corruption. Reproduced on two different machines. Machine 1: Spring 0.81.2.1 (RPM version). Fedora 12 (Linux), 2 x Xeon E5410, 8GB, nVidia 9800GTX (drivers: v195.36.24). Machine 2: Spring 0.81.2.1 (RPM version). Fedora 13 (Linux), 2 x Xeon L5530, 12GB, nVidia 470GTX (drivers: v195.36.24). - Gilboa

screenshot maybe? |

Tried. Almost impossible (flashes are instantaneous and vary in frequency). I'll try to record a video. - Gilboa |

Any idea how I can get a video recorded? All the tools that I tried (E.g. recordMyDesktop) only record at 2-3fps, making it impossible to recording the glitch. - Gilboa |

Under windows Spring has its own video recording capabilities. press Ctrl+Shift+F10 or type "/createvideo" |

Tried that. Ctrl-Shift-F10 didn't do anything :( |

Wasnt the solution for this to disable shorewaves? I recall a similar issue that was fixed by that. |

@Beherith, Disabling shore waves seems to solve the problem. Thanks! - Gilboa |
