hehehhhehe...this game makes sick, tiwsted sence.
First there was Battlefield 1942. Set in the past this game was a BLAST!
Then there was Battefeild 2. Set in the present, this game was gritty and very very very very fun!
now...there is what deserves to come next...

*snickers* c'mon, how many times do I have to say that Mech will NEVER HAPPEN, they are completely impractical, a tank is much simpler and much easier to put armor plating on, a mech is just TOO fragile.
Well atleast it isn't battlefield Fanstasy or something...and why do games always have to be set in the 22nd century? mid/late 21st century would be adequat for the technology shown.
definitly not a game I will get, I like my modern non-imagined stuff better.

I could see a practical side to mechs if they acted like the Core Gimp, and were amphibious AND under the water... Say a tank couldn't do that... then mechs that could would be the epitome of sea based assault stealth... Combined with a first wave of hovers, that engage the enemy defences, your heavy stuff comes marching out not long after, then your airdrops arrive....
