Policy regarding bug reporting on develop branch

Post by malric »

What is the policy regarding develop branch? Is it assumed it is (mostly) good code and we should report any bugs found there?

I tried to look here: http://springrts.com/wiki/Bugs but it does not mention this aspect.

Yes, if you find a bug in develop you should report it - nearly all bug reports relate to either the develop branch or to the current live version.

And now that I am thinking of it, I guess, bugs should be reported for either the latest release or the latest develop. I mean, no other older release is actively mantained, so probably reporting bugs for them would just add noise.

If there are no other opinion will update the bugs wiki page to make these things clearer.

When you report a bug to mantis, those are the only two options you get in the "version" field ;)
