Iirc, it makes a plane do an immelman immediately after firing instead of continuing over the target.
It was one of those massive "WTF, why was this implemented?" moments back before Lua.

according to that thread where Caydr is complaining, 1 enable the loopback option (like high traj), not activates it by default... and there is no way to force loopback on... if it still works at all.

Yes, it works, but only on fighters. For examples look at the fighter and bomber in Evo.
