Teleporter Buildings?
That will make BA games very interesting. It would require two buildings in order for teleportation works, so it can transport one unit from a building to an other building.
Re: Teleporter Buildings?
That might create balancing issues.
Re: Teleporter Buildings?
Where are you going to get a model/texture/effort/influence for that? BA hasn't added a new unit in the last 2 years, why do you expect it to start now? Just pointing out some possible difficulties.

Havn't thought of that yet.MidKnight wrote:Where are you going to get a model/texture/effort/influence for that?
First of all, it's an idea, I do not expect it to start now until people give their thoughts on this idea. If it's a good Idea, then I'll might work on the unit. If it's a bad idea then I will not create this unit at all.why do you expect it to start now?
Re: Teleporter Buildings?
Interesting. So say you could chuck a teleporter exit down at your frontline and an entrance at your base for team fortress goodness.

Re: Teleporter Buildings?
I was thinking of this for the Juno but not seriously.
My idea was that you load units into the structure like a transport, stockpile missiles, each missile fires a beacon which lands on the ground but the beacon can be killed, if it survives for say 10 seconds then one of the units gets teleported to that location destroying the beacon (it could queue 10 missiles and rapid fire them).
Might be a cool unit for a map hack.
