In the CVS it says that we can d/l a map in the new format from http://taspring.clan-sy.com/temp/smalldivide.sdz
But when I compile Spring from CVS and put this file in the maps/ directory, Spring complains that it can't find any maps. It seems that it searches for .smf files, but when I rename smalldivide.sdz to smalldivide.smf it still doesn't work.
Am I missing something here?

presumably because the .sdz file (like all zip files) contains path information, so that inside the .sdz file the .smd and .sm2 files are already inside the Maps directory. If you put that file inside the Maps folder the actual .smd and .sm2 files would effectively be in the Maps/Maps folder. Howver, I think it would make more sense to have them at the top level inside the zip archive and then stick the zipped file in the Maps folder.[K.B.] Napalm Cobra wrote:But why?
I think it would be even better if we used 7z instead of zip!
