New Transport tags?

Ok, I'm (finally) ready to put air-dropped stuff into PURE... what tags are available, and where do I put them? I understand that we now have a Fall() COB callout... is there one for landing, too? And how do I configure the transport to drop stuff? Can I use a tag to control how quickly it drops them? And what about loading / unloading behaviors?

Sorry if it seems like I'm waaaay behind the times here... been a little busy IRL, haven't had time to test this out yet, and my air-transport for PURE is nearly done...

The new drop stuff is good... but the transport flight code is still just awful...

Watching our LAATs fly around makes me sad; they look very cool as gunships or fighters, but for obvious reasons need to be transports... which effectively replaces the pilot with a plank of wood with a face drawn on.

Taking out the transport and leaving the gunship stuff wouldn't make a difference, Zsinj. Same movement stuff :P

The fact of the matter is that the flight code makes me very sad.

I don't know how to fix the flight-code, I can't code.

I can make pretty looking aircraft to use the flight code though.

If someone who can code fixes the flight code, I can continue to fix my content so that people have things that will use that flight code.

That's how this whole thing works, see ;)

It's just a shame when my pretty ships are hooked into the code provided, they bounce around like jackrabbits instead of flying naturally, continually bump into each other, and look terribly silly when actually firing at anything.

Why the transport/gunship flight code makes me sad (wmv, deal with it)

<rofl>... yeah, they're like flying, bouncing, retarded bumper-cars that basically just act like hovercraft, instead of acting like VTOLs that have to land and pick up troops :P

No chance anyone is going to pick this up? Even if just transports flew like normal aircraft while not trying to load things... It's just a sorry state of a affairs to watch anything other then fighters or bombers actually in flight. :(

Do you expect somebody to just come and fix some complex piece of code within a few days because you asked for it? :?

Yes. We don't mean to come across as whiny brats here- we've been asking for this to get fixed since at least last January, I started bringing it up then when I was fixing up some stuff for what I was working on then.
