well i just ment it so we can see the water on the minimaps, atm we can only see the bottom of a sea/ocean/lake/river

Noize, edit the minimap in yuor map archive, save the minimap as a DDS isntead of relying on unitsync to extract it, then open it in say photoshop and add the water yourself.

Also, i dotn dunerstand bit operators such as | or & etc so what you posted tobi makes no sense to me, I'd have to copy paste and assume it works correctly, so i ahve no chance of getting it in java if I cant directly substitute......

Although it would be useful to be able to retrieve heightmaps and metalmaps, just as soon as I manage to figure this java image minimap thing out....

The current lobby doesn't allow custom minimaps.

someone must right a patch then that loads the DDS minimaps etc......

It'd also be useful if they where saved anyways so that they could be cached, as maps can soemtimes take ages to load minimaps for.

Ok, The main user list in the main window has a search bar now and it will display results as your typing the username

I think he means to fill in all underwater areas with blue on the minimap.

AF add buttons for fast sorting change on top of list, can bee pretty little :) like simple letter, N C R S W :) i use only country and name ... also you can do some clan tag detection and separate clans from list by separator or something :) no needed now, first finish lobby, than add this if u r bussy doing lobby functional :wink:

ps: you can also do button for removing clan tag, display only name, clan tag can be displayed in tooltip ...

I want a NetBeans style button that shows a drop down menu with options like that.

Currently the quick way of searching for clantags is to put '[' or ']' in the sarch box.

Test version, no battles but it can chat, not to be taken as a full version, I just released so that peopel could see it and do graphics...

Just downloaded it, I couldnt find #main.. I tried joining it via the channels thingy, but no dice. :(

Other than that, its got high OMFG factor, really good job. Hoping this may become the official one.

The code would need to be clean enough to open source with the rest of the project as well. I haven't seen your java, so I don't know if that will be a problem. Acctually, if you want help cleaning up java code I can be a huge help there, my training in java is top notch, so drop me a line.
