Vista is a beta OS, you should never have it as your primary OS, nro should you expect software support from any vendor or prject for a beta Operating system.
I suggest you check your drivers and reinstall XP and use a dual boot setup, or at least run Vista in a virtual machine, as aside from being a beta OS thats potentially unstable, it could well be the very cause of your spring issues.

I guess so. The only reason microsoft are even going to put in some kind of OpenGL suppport is taht Nvidia are putting huge support on them to. The idea is, If microsfot doesn't put in OpenGL, Nvidia won';t makes cards that run on DX10, Meaning people who use nvidia will be forced to stayt with XP, Costing Microsaoft millions. Well. At least thats my complicated iidea anyway.
yeah... they seem to see everything they can't control as an outdated protocol...
Anyway there was someone in IRC a while ago (not you?) who couldn't get it working on Vista with ATI card either. Only OpenGL 1.1 (with only a handful extensions) was supported which is as old as 1995 or so
Go here, download the GLinfo zip mentioned in the link and look what version of OpenGL + which extensions you have.
