Racial Emblems under Labs - cool or not?
What's you guys' opinions of the Arm or Core logos appearing under factories?
I thought it was kind of neat for the first building or two, but it lost its charm quickly thereafter.

Maybe it's an AA 2.0 -only feature.
However, when you build a Kbot Lab, Vehicle Plant - any sort of unit-making factory, a large decal of either the Core or Arm logo is placed onto the ground in stylish dark metal.
This is not a feature of the model, it is some effect caused by placing the factory there.
I'm unsure how it works, as it doesn't change the terrain in such a way you can see it using F1 (As you could if, say, an enemy built a Punisher on a slope, so you could see the rectangle indentation), but... *shrugs*

In the meantime, why not just remove the fancy edge texturing so overlap is a matt grey on grey? The whole idea started from a potential Dune mod in which concrete would be underneath all buildings.
The only reason we see overlap is because of the contrast between edges. Used right this is a neat little feature, just keep the textured bits under the buildings.
