I build level 1 URC plasma towers in front of level 2, to get that extra bit of firepower.

in between my base and the enemy's, were combat is likely to occur, except with SAMs, which are placed wherevre an air attack will probably occur, and........................
a lvl2 wall would work if it was taller... health doesnt matter, but height is needed

Why things are the way they are...
Most newbs will think E&E is a mod for ta, but that is wrong, but why, people think o woopie! "ta" spring is only for ta, but the truth is it should really be called Spring, its the spring engine and E&E runs on it. They need a SpringUniverse. Well, whatabout the mod, i played GD, i know that the tanks select sounds are ripped off from Ta, and the radar and jamming system looks very similur to ta models. the most important reason for this confusion is TEXTURES, which needs to be replaced with better newer textures. Textures make it most familiar, so until E&E is 100% custom, made fressh, whatever content, it will be confused with and compared to TA.

There is a website that claims that the mp3 sounds that they offer are for free, if its true, i can link you directly to the sounds and what they should be used for, the sound effect for the weapons are brilliant, so ill only do tank selecting and mech selecting and stuff like that. Since its in Mp3s, get a free version of goldwave, and you can resave these sounds to playable wav files for spring, you can edit and cut them aswell.

I never, ever said they were the same kind of game. Next buzzkill!It's getting offensive that you continually refuse to accept that EE is different from AA and want everything to be balanced in kind. That's not the way it works. EE different game from AA.
And I've never had an issue with the lack of metal makers. Inaccurate Point Two!Sorry, there are no metal makers in EE. BTW I don't bag on players that play either or both. I simply keep mentioning that they are seperate games in their own right.
Then why include them in the mod at all?Why run static defences if you don't need them? If I have the units to guard my base/expansion, then why would I want defences? Units are mobile and can be used to ambush.

Oh yes, because I undermine a particular tactic. I understand the tactic very well... I've understood it since I was five, playing Chess for the first time.Having mroe units is a tactic, the same as airdropping, amphibs or a gazillion of other tactics in EE that work really well. You need to understand a very important concept for E&E.
There isn't even a point to contend with here. It's as it should be. My main issue with AA, on an unrelated note, are the super L3 units that make L1 and L2 obsolete.The game is made to be primarily fought with lv1 units. Lv2, lv3, Air, and ships are primarily BACKUP units. Therefore it makes sense. You do not HAVE to have Lv2 or lv3 to win, BUT, it makes your forces much mroe useful, however don't send 2 lv3's off by themselves and expect them to do much cause they will fall quickly, HOWEVER, when backed up by lv2 and lv1 they are OMGWTFPWN at what they do.
One Point For Arrogance!Break out of the TA box will you please? It would make all the guys who understand the game, lives much easier.
That is an integral point of this mod, and I have no idea why you're arguing the point at all? Nobody is disagreeing with you.unless you're playing a super metal heavy map, you MUST control more territory due to the fact that there are no metal makers in E&E. Try playing on bigger maps such as 20x20 or bigger. If you play on smaller than 16x16 maps then you will get some odd gameplay.
Oh, I would if you weren't overwhelmingly arrogant, obdurate and condescending. For now, I guess I'll just play more.Lastly, why don't you start posting some replay's of the games you've had and then we can help you understand what you did wrong and what you did right that you can do even better.
