since comm bombing is a legit strategy to win i usualy rezz commanders since resurrection is alway cheaper then building new units except you want to build different stuff
like if you're jammed inside your base by lots of buildings and walls you porbably wont resurrect an orcone
but if i have the choice to build some bulldogs with the resources of a dead commander or resurrecting the commander and bomb my enemy i definitly choose the second option since i have allways a rezz bot left
in early game its important to resurrect small attack kbots and flashes - its way cheaper then sucking in the wereckeges and build new ones - and also its less time intense
so i want different opinions for the "more valuable" comannder - to lose a commander should be a major fault - it shouldnt kill you (dead commander ends game) but i needs to hurt you
in later game its no matter to lose the commander - you simply can build farks and a lv1 kbot to replace him perfectly - ok, he cant cloak - but farks build faster, produce more resources and are cheaper - so why the hell keep the commander?

Erm, where exactly are you going to get a rezz Kbot from early game? Have you been hax0ring you naughty little sausage?in early game its important to resurrect small attack kbots and flashes - its way cheaper then sucking in the wereckeges and build new ones - and also its less time intense

ok - not early game, mid-game :DCabbage wrote:Suit Wrote:Erm, where exactly are you going to get a rezz Kbot from early game? Actually Noize, that's a very interesting idea. (it's about time you did something constructive
)
Well at the very least I'd like to have a rezzer unit somewhere in the vehicle line by the next version. I'm also experimenting with a unit idea I came up with while thinking about a certain proud and noble MMORPG character.
Everyone else, whaddya think?

maybe the rezz unit should be a bot - but not cloaked anymore
to make the comm the only rezzing unit would be a terrible fault
players will be able to resurrect from start, so if the a lv1 factory is killed by a rush the comm can simply resurrect it - will be much more difficult to handle very early games

Rezzing takes time...Suit wrote: to make the comm the only rezzing unit would be a terrible fault

and you need every second early game...
True, but on the other hand you wouldn't kamikaze your commander anymore now would you? The more I think about it, the more I think it might be worth a try.
Oh, good news. I just checked the bug tracker and [insert disclaimer about me being wrong most of the time] it appears that torpedo bombers may have been fixed.

Im not sure that the comm being able to rezz is a great idea, the comm has the most powerful weapon in the game and is the fastest builder and peple still kamikaze him. Being able to rezz proabably wont change this.
I think hes already powerful enough without the rezz ability, he has good hp, can build, is transportable, has a d gun, can cloak, is a walking nuclear bomb.
Despite what people say hes useful all game, Ive lost count of the number of slow moving l3 units ive cloaked and dgunned to save my base.
Nothing to dgun in your base? stick him on factory duty or use him on the front line... hes UBER!!

My word, those poor people suffering from 'pverty' - oh the humanityCabbage wrote:Soulless1 Wrote:
That's one well-constructed argument right there! Really, it blew me away :p
Then my work here is done! I've finally got time to go and solve world pverty now! ^^

nitpicking ftw! or at least for the alleviation of tedium!
