Cookie Clicker

Post by SinbadEV »

The site is getting hammered with popularity so you may need to try a few times to get it to load (it runs locally so once executed it will stay running)

You click a cookie to get cookies and spend cookies to buy upgraded so you can get cookies faster...

I've clicked over 70,000 times and am producing over 70 Million cookies per second (CpS)

Cookie Clicker was shown to me about a week ago and I don't see much point to it. It reminds me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD69PAIqiYo

Essentially... but Cookie Clicker has the dignity to mask it's nature with the trappings of a real game so it's more like MMO+Progress Quest=Cookie Clicker.

It should be noted that I have 13474 points in the Android port of MMO...

Progress Quest is an MMO. It also has much better controls (no need to click).

I have a level 78 character in PQ.

MMO is the name of a game in this context... a game where you click a button and get a point... and then repeat... which is why I said "MMO(as in the game called MMO)+Progress Quest=Cookie Clicker"... because Progress Quest has all of the trappings of an MMO without the clicking and MMO (as in the game called MMO) is a game where you click a button and get points.

Just reading this post is like work. Aren't games supposed to be fun?

Generally but not always. Sometimes the benefit of a game comes in the form of feeling of accomplishment or the adrenaline of an athletes high or the endorphin released when your are playing a high stress game and then stop.
