Re: Cookie Clicker
Cookie Clicker was shown to me about a week ago and I don't see much point to it. It reminds me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD69PAIqiYo
Re: Cookie Clicker
Essentially... but Cookie Clicker has the dignity to mask it's nature with the trappings of a real game so it's more like MMO+Progress Quest=Cookie Clicker.Google_Frog wrote:Cookie Clicker was shown to me about a week ago and I don't see much point to it. It should be noted that I have 13474 points in the Android port of MMO...
Re: Cookie Clicker
Progress Quest is an MMO. It also has much better controls (no need to click).
I have a level 78 character in PQ.

Re: Cookie Clicker
MMO is the name of a game in this context... a game where you click a button and get a point... and then repeat... which is why I said "MMO(as in the game called MMO)+Progress Quest=Cookie Clicker"... because Progress Quest has all of the trappings of an MMO without the clicking and MMO (as in the game called MMO) is a game where you click a button and get points.Anarchid wrote:Progress Quest is an MMO. Just reading this post is like work. Aren't games supposed to be fun?SinbadEV wrote:MMO is the name of a game in this context... a game where you click a button and get a point... and then repeat... which is why I said "MMO(as in the game called MMO)+Progress Quest=Cookie Clicker"... because Progress Quest has all of the trappings of an MMO without the clicking and MMO (as in the game called MMO) is a game where you click a button and get points.

Generally but not always. Sometimes the benefit of a game comes in the form of feeling of accomplishment or the adrenaline of an athletes high or the endorphin released when your are playing a high stress game and then stop.CarRepairer wrote:Aren't games supposed to be fun?
