As pressureline stated right.. i need to introduce the concepts of my game. Otherwise fun is bound to not happen.
So i made a loadscreen, and plan to do some more.

Criticism? Please speak right into this pipe-microphone, which looks suspiciously like a pumpgunbarrel.

Code: Select all

 unNeg(((((math.ceil(math.sqrt((xCoord-halfLife)^2+ (zCoord-halfLife)^2))-(inRange-halfLife))*-1)+totalRange)*((EndHeight-StartHeight)/totalRange)))+ StartHeight
Isnt it beautifull... and slowly grows out of the ground.. and no hidden terraformin costs.. no extra attention needed...the hidden costs of those stuff is in most games to high. Nobody has the time for complex stuff in the heat of battle- so it remains rarely used. Unless..

Well, i thought.. what if i overdo it.. make the Centrail aka Combine to evil. I mean.. there is a point where it becomes slapstick.. so i took a slight turn - and present to you a "Alternative Energy Source on a biological basis, that will raise the moral reputation of the Universal Union (and should that not work out, at least its energy-level)".

Image
The new ex-enemy reception area...

If your sniper drags enemy corpses to your industry bait buildings, they get dissassembled to become a guaranteed (green (if you are red/green colourblind)) energysource. Now thats what i call a afterlife, and if there is a moral of the story, its that not a single bit got wasted.

+ You can drag infantry with those harpoons there too.. soo bring out your dead.

How is the Sniper's harpoon operated? I tried a while ago with the newest build then available but couldn't get my head around it.

basically a loading crane.. the crane arm is a a chain of elements, who read the ground beneath, and by some cases, estimate if the rope is going over the hill - or uses this one as a new heightmax- or if the transported good is hanging free. Ill upload it once its bugfree.. also want to add the sideway collisiondetection and delay first.. also optimization..
