as I'm a noob @ programming i hope someone will be willing to take a look and make a small adjustment to it :D
basicly i would like that geovents can also be placed underwater
Also in mothermapconv geovent placement itself is kinda bugged.
I know for sure the mappers will really appreciate it :D
PS
Sorry for my bad English
mothers mapconv ( geoplacement )

Actually its a misconception on most everyone's part. It has to do with the size of the feature map. For instants: I am working on a map right now, that when I compile it, I get almost 300 geos. The solution to this is simple. If you take a look at the example file for making the example map, you will notice that file 257f.bmp is only 256x256 NOT 257x257 as with the height file 257h.bmp. The solution is to resize your feature map to 1/8 the size of the surface map. NOT 1/8th the size of surface map + 1 pixel. That should take care of all your problems.
Its something in the mapconv that trys to shrink the + 1 pixel feature map, but it ends up make geo blobs. I hope that helps.

We all know that!
but when placing like 20 geo's on a map. things tend to get buggy.
also sometimes 1 green pixel generates more then one geo, of course i just move the pixel a side by one pixel and it's okay...
But something IS bugged in there!
I wish i had the skills to solve it.
PS
just to be clear i know the feature map is 1/8 of the map and NOT 1/8 +1 pixel
