Imo reduce the number of metal spots and make the value bigger instead, if needed. If unsure, it's always better to have less metal than too much.

The point is that there should be conquest about the metal spots, not just a competition in teching.

texture tweaked

My brother and I just tried massacring some AIs on this map. The texturing is awesome. The metal seemed a bit too rich, but then we were only playing it with four total players.

edit: by "this map" I mean the latest--version 3

edit again: oh yes, and there are a few inconsequential blips in the metal map

Will fix those gitches with a v4 some time this week. Thanks for the feedback. I can lower the over all metal a bit more if you guys think it'll help. If you all want the metal even lower though, I would like to see more opinions before I make the change..

How about metal income mapoption?

Anyway I dont think theres too much metal. We played 6v6 ZK game on it and it felt pretty slow, so I think its fine. The map isnt designed for 4 anyway but for 8. So you feel there's too much metal basically in any map which you are playing shorthanded.

But! Your metal extractor radius is still too small. It's very annoying that you need to hit your extractor directly on the middle of the spot. So make your radius like 2x of the metal spot size.

But I dont think this is an issue alone that demands revision.

I also feel resource altering options belong in the respective games. because other games may play the maps.

on the lower ramps.
- Just finished making the ramps MUCH wider than the old.
- Increased their length and with it it decreased the slope.

This should help greatly. building the texture, will be a few hours before it is done.
