Ok all I'm working with the new s3o file format. I can make the models and place them into upspring, I see the textures on them just fine but when I place them into the map they don't show up..... not realy sure what I'm doing wrong :| any help would be greatly welcome. here is the tdf for the feature that I'm trying to get into the map.

The format that I'm saving the texture maps in is DXT3 .dds and I'm placing them directly into the folder named unittextures.

any ideas???? :?

Do ur features have more than one peice?? If they do, they should all be converted to one bit and called "base".

The txt file looks fine... :/

I guess i could send over one of my features for u to compare against... (BTW the texture will come through inverted in game att he mo...)

no my feature is only one object, are you speeking inverted in color or just the image?

The Texture is upside down from that of Upspring, but i didn't mean that, I actully ment that teh Faces are inverted, as in teh moddel will appear inside out. Or atleast thats the problem many of us (well everyone i know) has had. Its due to a minor code change in that last version, that stoped them working properly.

I'll email u one of my features, if taht works, maybe you'll be able to spot what you have done differntly...

aGorm what apps are you using to make your feature and textures?

I first make my models in Rhino then place them into 3ds max 7 to UV map them, and I make my textures in Photoshop.

I use Wings, then blender... and then photoshop the textures. Whys that? It wont matter in teh end how there made will it?
(or i didnt think it would...)

well as far as I can tell the prob lies in my models. . . .not realy sure what i'm doing wrong =\ hmmmmmmmmmmm

Crazy stuff... Does my wall load fine (other than it goes inside out!!!)
