How about a coordinated effort to fix the BA page? I have suggested on the talk page that it be split up into a separate strategy page and redoing the page from scratch.
On a related note, discussion hardly occurs on the wiki itself. Perhaps someone should create a sub-forum in the development section for discussing wiki development?
I know that you can do this all on the wiki, but it would be neater and perhaps invite more comments from people who don't necessarily contribute often.

I think if you want to work on the BA page that's a good thing. My focus though is to clean out some old mentality which positions spring as a game not an engine.
So coordinating effort with me for BA will be fruitless.

Because spring already has the forum as its main communications channel, any attempt to move that discussion elsewhere will only raise the barrier of entry for contribution(its another place to check). its good for keeping track of specifically wiki modifications information, but not for general purpose communications.

Creating a sub forum will separate out the wiki creators from the rest of the community. and unless the number of wiki contributors hit critical mass I think it will only harm interest levels.

Got to keep the bureaucracy to a minimum. effort to a minimum, compatibility and sustainability to a maximum.

I think the correct response is "thanks for taking an interest. why not post what you intend to do on the forum here so that you can get some feedback".

I find it really confronting coming into a community and wanting to help and getting such blunt comments that have a lot of back story(which I am unaware of so they just appear blunt).

To encourage new contributors please be nice.

Enginge changes optimally shouldn't break the behaviour of any game.

Would be really cool though if someone made a proper website for the TA mods, would make both this site and TA games advertising look much better
Off topic, but why don't you make it then?
Cause I don't know how to build a good website and have no will to learn that. Content I could do if there was someone building such site.

Hey Enetheru, the wiki (ie site content) can definitely do with some love - so go ahead, your suggestions sounded good to me so far.
I can certainly agree there's plenty to weed out, since I've had a go at cleaning up in the past as well.

Feel free to get back into it :)

Noticed at the bottom of this page it references the old "using spring" page. can someone update that to point to the game downloads pages!
