i was wondering about making a new thread, just asking ppl on the lobby, or using an existing one.

i picked this one.

spring has potential, this mod has potential...yet.....very few players.

imo putting out an upgraded xta would help (better games -> more games -> less time waiting for games, etc..).

this may or may not be off...but here goes:
Noruas, are you tired of being responsible for putting together and releasing xta versions? why the delay?

Also Where's Waldo? Or rather Noruas? Is the king dead? If so, I would like the people who are currently independently developing xta to contact me. XTA is too nice of a game and too promising of a project to let it get frayed and killed (which seems to be what has happened here). The clans are dying. I want to unify the playerbase and contributors to turn this around.

this is what i wanted bring back into discussion: there seems to be some sort of sync problem with people wanting to fix xta and Noruas. Which shows up sometimes, but then disappears.

upgraded, special, call it whatever u want, i wasn't suggesting changing the mod name, just improving the mod itself. That patch that's been almost ready for quite some time would help.

Special means something different to updated.

Special means it has added units, added features, balance changed. Something is universally "different" about it.

Updated means same mod, relativly same balance with some tweaks and minor changes, possibly the inclusion of new units. Maybe some bug fixes.

Braindamage is doing incredible work and its rather close to engine update now, everyone should just chill from xta for abit, so when the engine updates the mod updates
