It's a Navy Destroyer by the way, in case it really is a broken link.

Look down at you soul and do what you're feeling more like doing.
But, as my advice, try not to mix things up. If you start working on more than one makor thing at a time, if you don't separate and organize them well, you may end up all mixed up, always feeling like you should be doing something diferent, non-productive, etc.

Arleigh Burke might be included, but the already very similar Kongou-Class will be included I think which is a Japanese Arleigh Burke (I think), also Ticonderoga-Class will be included, it will be a missile destroyer.

But ships are on the backburner for right now.

I would definitely like to see a copyright-free mod available. Imagine WD and spring being shipped on countless linux distros (once the linux port is done) (or ReactOS distros when it's usable.) I think it would be worth it to replace the OTA textures in WD for this purpose. Besides, why give up on all the work you've done so far with WD to create another mod, which will no doubt be more similiar to other high-tech ones around anyway.

If you do want to do a C&C mod, check out all the work that has been done by the generals to C&C mod, TFTW.

GO WD! GO WD! Seriously, if you can get WD to be all copyright-infringement free, that would be brilliant. I love WD. If you need variety, maybe help someone else with their mod? Skilled help is hard to find.

The mod looks alright, not very high-quality or anything.

I'd rather use my own models or those of other C&C mods, theirs look a little bit too much...fantasized...105mm gun for the M1A1? riiight.

finish WD, or at least release a stable, playable version without bothering with redesigning the gameplay or models.
if you start up another project before doing so, I bet neither will be finished.

I for one would love to just be able to mess around with the current version of WD without it crashing after two minutes, regardless of any potential balance issues

Well if your gonna do WD, put in some of the new US military stuff. Like the F-22, the new destroyer X, the JSF, M1A1 and all that.

yeah, F-22 would be neat, but something else that was really awesome was the YF-23 for TA:WD. I always thought it was a shame the F-22 got contract rights over the YF-23...

F-22 is in, M1A2 is in (M1A1 is outdated).

DD-X is still a big unknown so I dunno about that.

What weapons should JSF have? JDAMs? JSOW?

depends currently JSF would be using JDAM the JSOW'll prolly be a few more years before it's deployed.

I'd really really like to see WD working without crashing. Then maybe work on prettier models etc after that?
