AF also does the
fit he = if the, putting spaces in the wrong place thing... I'm wondering how you could filter that out... if you get this thing smart enough it might be a good addition to a turing chat competition entry, one thing that makes it easy to tell the difference between people and computers is that people can read past mistakes and still understand.
Also, why is it stripping punctuation? (in the demo screenshot)

And AD removes all punctuation becouse they aren't part of the words. (So they are not in the database). You need to remove them in order to compare the words. Putting them back is on the 2nd place of the to-do list.
@aGorm: What version of Windows do you use? I ran it on Windows 2K, and it gave an error like you described. By bet is that it's some error with the libs or database, I shall look to that.
Other comments of AD should be replyed here: http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3066
I'll keep the name. Everyone inmediatly knows what the program is suppose to do with that name.Alantai Firestar wrote:In msn plus I had things such as
"fit he" == "if the" rather than just single words.
Please keep the name Alantai decoder, even if you add other people to it, ^_^
Can't put multiple words as one in the database, AD splits all words on the spaces. But misplaced spaces will be corrected in the (near) future.
And I've fixed the starting error (took me a while).

zwzsg for DS try this:
Seefar
(draws things far in distance, hard for pentiums III 600 :D)
Be sure of going to preferences and changing camara angles values.
diablo font (higly flamable, but way more readable than original font).
and Mod manager for turning them on and off.
completelly different game after that.

Sorry guys for being that offtopic, just sharing what made that game into a greater experience for me, and zwzsg yeah those angles were made almost for taking the screenshots solely, but in normal game i do use them too, as i zoom in to see the figths or some other detail..., not in vain, the bar is what i use for mousefreelook key.
Taking it back on topic, .. how does "mods" affect a open source game?
in the case of this game, almost* all mods are related to the units/balance/.. of the game..
its a bit dumb.. bc mods for spring are not really mods for spring..
were mods for TA.. but not for spring
are content for spring! haha.. .. they are.. er.. races.. and.. different strategy games... dunno..
something most of a mod in the traditional way was the minispring thing.
