Camo, yay or nay? I'm doing the texturing piece-by-piece, and I reckon I've got the chest area done. Thoughts?

Eh? Yeah, it's just default 3dsmax lighting, if that's what you meant.

Through a mixture of layer masks, inventive layer selection screwery and some abuse of underlying textures, I think, think, I can make the camo the team colour.

Still needs a bit of tweaking, but it should work (the 'teamcolour' is simply a flat colour layer above everything else, with a layer mask specially constructed to get that effect).

Smoth does some cool stuff with blending with texture overlays like camo. GMN - had that same idea for team colored camo, almost used it on the madcat back in the day of battletech.But I think it would definitely fit a game with that theme. People just need to keep that in mind when choosing their colors.
BTW texture is awesome! It puts to shame the textures I made for your other models. Would you like those back btw?

Because I mispelt it. I fixed that. It's the name of the Mech; it's an A22 Atreides. Just a Dune reference.
