complete control camera
it spams warnings that i should disable smoothscroll, and rightly so - but i can't, because all non-mod widgets are hidden. not exactly what i call user-friendly

Re: complete control camera
It has to be complaining about the mod smoothscroll, because local widgets aren't just hidden, they are blocked.
Probably CCC should be on by default and smoothscroll disabled/removed.

Re: complete control camera
hm, ok. i'll take a look when i get back home.
also, lockcamera fails rather ungracefully with ccc, guess it's the reason it's off by default.

CCC also reverses my zooming in and out again, I allready have it reversed by putting zoomspeed to -25.
I shouldnt have to change my springsettings for every mod thats not practical.

Re: complete control camera
Spring settings only configures the engine camera, CCC is completely separate.
Press Esc to bring up crude menu, Settings > View > Complete Control Camera, and there is an option to invert zoom, along with some other configurable options.

Let me know if you were able to find the modside smoothscroll to disable. If not, perhaps I need to fix something (it might think your local smoothscroll as enabled even though local are disabled from the mod).imbaczek wrote:it spams warnings that i should disable smoothscroll, and rightly so - but i can't, because all non-mod widgets are hidden.
Known bug, not sure if it will take me a whole bunch of painful work to make the two compatible. I have an alternative idea where I integrate ccc with ally cursor instead. It would reduce bandwidth overhead, and everyone plays with allycursors on already so there's no need to ask them to broadcast anything like with lockcam.imbaczek wrote:also, lockcamera fails rather ungracefully with ccc, guess it's the reason it's off by default.

Cursors jump around a lot more, so smoothing out the camera movement so it doesnt make you sick with its lurching is even more important here.CarRepairer wrote:Let me know if you were able to find the modside smoothscroll to disable. I'm well aware of that fact, thanks. It would of course have to be more formulaic than just "point camera at cursor."Saktoth wrote:Cursors jump around a lot more, so smoothing out the camera movement so it doesnt make you sick with its lurching is even more important here.
