He's showing off stuff TA could do that spring currently can't... or can't do perfectly at least...
It's true, there is still lost of stuff that doesn't work in spring, but there is lots of stuff that does work in spring that doesn't work in TA. Hopefull unit creators will be able to one day have alot more control over specific unit AI, maby to the point of even building thier own unit AIs. And alot of the stuff your showing off will be possible with the implimentation of the new scripting language. It's great that you feel the need to reem the developers of this unfinished game about the stuff that isn't possible yet, but is planned to be possible in the future. People are working as fast as they can, and the potentials of this game are changing so rapidly many of us can hardly keep up with what is currently possible and what will be possible in the near future. Zaphod is constantly expounding on nearly every aspect of the spring engine. Compile the stuff you would like to see into a wishlist thread like the rest of us have, and stop spamming single picture topics, it's really irritating.

Showing off the "imposible" ICBM submarine, it is possible but in OTA units will still fire at it, I have tried this already.
Dinamic, perhaps you should have sellected the unit when you made this little animation, I would have liked to see where the groundplate was relative to the unit it self.
OH, have you ever asked Maestro if you could use his content? did you ever ask me?
just wondering, I know Maestro is quite protective of his stuff, I am too in some extend, did you ever email us about it? I am not really certain.

There are some difference between TA and Spring, so some script needs reworking to work as well in Spring as in TA.
For instance Spring calls the aiming script at nearly each tick, so any aiming script with a sleep in it while be killed by its new self before completing.
