No, I just don't care. I am actively helping both springlobby and qtlobby, why should I care about a lobby I cannot use anyway?

Reinstalled Spring, water still buggy, i also found out features are buggy too:

water doesnt have texture at all in it.

Don't have anything overlap the window while loading.

I had problem with installer 0.80.2 (a lot of error messages about some dll). Portable archive works.

I think a lot of players have such problem, and need to place links to spring download page:

Why portable version of spring does not have tasclient in it?

its a good lobby, and barely 5 mb more.

TASClient isn't portable. (uses registry)

Edit: also the minimap custom icons are broken, they dont support transparency at all, all i see is squares with one color. except the default circle icons are working...

EDIT: also markers / allycursors are rendered wrong, doesnt support transparency on allycursors, and the markers doesnt have edges at all.

spring-dedicated.exe is broken, i cant run SPADS on it anymore.
[19:47:10] <bibim> spring-dedicated.exe seems currently broken in current spring release...

minimap startboxes still not on by default, i heard its part of engine, not part of BA... is that true?

It is enabled by default if you use clean settings. That setting was off by default in 0.79, spring continues to use off then, even if default is on now.

edit: your error was a different one then

As I said in http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=16620

The minimap_startbox.lua has a bug, which make it disabled for every game if the first game you run isn't choose pos.

Spring 0.80.2 doesn't use the modified version I posted, so still has that bug.

The new pathfinding can be crappy with features around, units spread out too much. Pathing with trees around wasnt the best thing before either ofc, but still it seemed worse now, after playing a little on altair.

Edit: Not just with trees but it sucks without terrain too :/ just played BA ccr and was really annoyed by the tanks curving around out of my control instead of sticking to the most direct route. What you might win in speed is lost in lack of control...

whats this new double-right-click-on-minimap-and-issue-commands-on-minimap function doing here? i already disabled "issue commands on minimap" from springsettings.exe

how to disable this doublerightclick function?

Also, theres a bug: when i spectate and select unit, and right click on minimap, it tries to issue movement command on minimap

Edit: seems like this is customformations2 widget bug, or a feature...

at least tasclient lets you chat in main, look at battles, and chat in a battlewindow all at the same time. I'm not sure you realize how many people still use TASClient. Spring lobby has alot less bugs, but its interface is so crappy the whole thing is one giant bug itself.

new update = tasclient isnt working for me anymore
and
cant play with jazcash cos he desyncs every game now

pls dont try to update spring again.. ever

It only happens when I try to use my previous widgets from my old setup. On a fresh install with the default widgets it's fine. However, I do wish to use my old widgets and have no idea how I can find which one is causing the desyncs.
