put spring in windowed mode, dual monitor mode, double the horizontal resolution, and slide it halfway off the screen?
Re: Ingame commands to disable fog, markers, etc.
hmm... it works, kinda, the resolution doesnt get any wider than my maximum 1680x
maybe i need another screen to make it work properly...?
and still it shows those marker animations and my camera angle box
edit: its okay now, i get 840x840 square, resized into 720x720 by recording software, would be nice if those marker animations could be disabled too

Re: Ingame commands to disable fog, markers, etc.
could try recompiling that revision of spring with a null marker handler... or someone could feasibly make a script to parse a replay and strip the marker network commands from it...

Ctrl+Shift+F10 but codec window shows up only when in windowed mode.. at least for me.TradeMark wrote: btw i thought they removed springs video recorder, at least nobody knows which button it starts it anymore. anyways, its not the good way to record, because it will record the whole screen, and i dont need that, i just record a square, so only the map will be recorded. smaller filesize, cooler video.
Whole screen recording depends on what codec you use. Or better yet what settings can be used for it.

Oh my goodness. We're actually losing features now because nobody remembered to write down how to turn them on and now it's too late.
