lolwut it was a serious question, I personally agree with combombing as a tactic as long as its not in the name of ruining the game, because the commander conveys advantages that are lost upon combomb.

best way is to fiddle with the edgeeffect of the explosion so it only does enough damage to kill another com on full health when within like 300 range (dgun plus max distance coms can move apart while dgun travels)
this way, when one com dguns another both go boom
but if one com explodes near another com on max health, unless it is very close the other com survives. this would make atlas combombing less effective.
we did this on xta and it abolished combombing in liek a week.

The kill all comms end game mod option has added another layer of strategy to commbombing.
I've seen less frivolous bombing and more thoughtful use. It is good.

I'd like it a lot more if it were com ends for each player instead of teams. Sure you can set this, but it's kinda an issue cause once one guy dies, it just gets easier from then on for the enemy. ..
