for some reason it hangs up loading mods other than THIS or colorwars... just goes to a black screen.
i have downloaded and re-installed the the latest version (0.79.0.2) and applied the patched exe from the springrts.com homepage. spring settings are all the same as they were before the new version.
working with vista32.
stuff that might have buggered it up
-before installing 0.79, i deleted 0.78 and the rest of spring from program files on my main HD (i saw people having problems due to vista access permissions) and installed the new version onto a different drive.
-when starting springlobby in the first try at installing 0.79, it said it couldnt find unitsync.dll, and i would be unable to sync in multiplayer... i uninstalled, deleted the spring directory, and installed again. the problem remained until i went to the options tab in springlobby, then the spring tab, then clicked apply (the paths were already there, i dont understand what happened, but that at least made the unitsync msg go away.)
