I think grunge map overlays/filter effects could really lift your textures, they just look a little plain at the moment. They are in good shape to overlay some cool looking stuff though.
You're definitely going to want to darken it a bit in places, its going to look like a bright grey wash, just like what happened to my instigator model first time around.
Teamcolor areas should also be pure black, then you don't get any brightening of it and you get pure color, just in case you havn't already set it to black there.
