Feature: Strike Zone for bombers
When we attack with a lot of bombers, the bombers attacks only one building/unit even with patrol command.
Use a zone button (lets shift button pressed to make a circle of zone) to annihilate all a zone will be a good idea isn't?

A carpet bombing feature would be nice; and has been suggested before.
Basically, you use the attack area button, and give an area. The bombers then assort themselves into a line or V formation, based on the diameter of the given area attack. That way, the bombers drop their bombs in a line, ensuring equal covering of an area.
Its a helpful way to hit a large area of troops, or a defensive position.
Plus it would look really cool to see your bombers flying in formation towards their targets.

There is no new cursor, just click and define an area, like when making a zone reclaim.IMSabbel wrote:How does it work?
WHen i click on the "area attack" button, it becomes red. But i dont get any new curser or so to mark the attack area.
If i select a move/attack target manually, the button becomes unselected...

Lol ! you press on the reclaim button (or his shortcut) and make a selection (you click, keep the mouse down and move the mouse).IMSabbel wrote:Er... You can zone reclaim?
How does that work?
Like when you restore the map to his original height.
Just try, it's not hard :)
First time I played spring, I tried all combinatition, with shift ctrl etc...you learn good things. (like ctrl-move or ctrl-attack)
well...Zaphod wrote:Currently it's already sort of an area attack with the low accuracy of the artillery :)I could be coul to have it for artillery too :)
lets say the area of attack of non-veteran vulcane while radar targeting a distant target begins about one solar-extractor distance from the muzzle :D
