I havent even been around for like a week or two.. or something and rattle is still making fun of me.. jeeze..

seriously though Im like freaking out over here over what I see.. shear uncontrollable spasms of horrible nerd rage..

Prosumably, emmanuel couldn't be assed to texture the s3os when he converted them for 3dos.... so he just applied a universal copper texture and ramped the specular map way up. Otherwise known as caydr syndrome.

protip: only the aliens are s3os.. everything else in EE is 3do.. so apparently he couldnt be arsed to keep my textures which are all named the same as the orginal TA textures.. just they look different, this was to save me time from having to retexture all my models.. since im sure he didnt feel like doing that work... we have copper whatsits..

And here we have the reason I don't post screenshots anymore, even when heavily noted "TEMPORARY PLACEHOLDER TEXTURES".

You still did it though, and you did it because you had no proper textures (though at least you were planning on replacing them and they were WIPs...). Omniati on the other hand probably wasn't inspired by those, more that he's just nuts that way and thinks it's an actual improvement.
