Non-earth trees...?(TA)

I think Spring has erm.. "forgot" that TA arm & core fought over many planets, so shouldn't features uhh... vary? Like trees/plant life should vary, use your imagination! ie. if anyone remembers the OTA planet rougpelt, they know that there were meteors, and different squat plant life. So i would really appreciate that along with normal maps, trees could vary, and other alien life form featurs could be made. I'm pretty sure this is manageable.

spring is not ta.

fuss at the mappers for not making you a map with ta plants... oh wait, the mappers did. There are mars remakes with the starfish looking plants. Moving on.

I wish there were more kinds of OTA trees too. Unfortunately they have to be remade from the OTA format, which is a job no one seems to want to do.

TA's trees were sprites rendered specifically for TA's camera and no others.

the specific isometric rendering angle that ta used which was ofset a certain degree angle

it shouldn't be too hard. I could even make it a unit and have it explode on death. do you guys really need it?

Ideally someone would code support for animated and explosive features. Then someone could do a remake of C_A_P's windy trees hack for OTA. :D

I can make the gasbags and a map for them. but past silly ota remembrance do people really want this? because if so I will do it but if it just a LOL gasbags thread then my time is better spent on other things.

Check out my map Caustic Park v2, that's all in OTA acid tiles.

I'd be up for having a go at recreating gasbag plains or something like that if I had gasbags to work with :)
