you have not seen flames on this board yet. IF what I said was so terrible then you really need to harden th F*** up.

In case I was unclear before, this community has a foundation, on it there are the bones of many trolls and troll food. We built whole walls with windows and pretty little pictures on them.

Flamewars happen for months at a time. I personaly have been trolled for a year or more by some people. It is the way it is on the internet. Someone saying they find something not to their liking in colorful language is not a flame.

That is fine, the thread was removed and most of us are willing to drop it but you first have to stop crying about it. i will never see you as a victim in that thread and I am not the only one.

Believe me it isn't worth your time. That is part of why it was removed. You have no idea how annoying this community can be to people. It was a minor thing.

I'm afraid it was me who posted the comment "would like to see" on the forum.
I just thought it would have been cool to have spring like battles on small planets so would have liked maybe one or two of you modders to have seen if this was at all possible.

It would require an engine rewrite basically.

@vimes, me suck up to mods? HA, you have no idea how humorous that is, especially since I have spent a large amount of time telling them how much they phail at moderation. However, neddie has been doing a real bang up job and is seems that swiftspear is actually trying again, so that is good.

Thing is, Spring is designed completely different from how an MMORTS would have to be designed so yes, you'd basically have to make everything from scratch.

Isn't that worthy of a bit more discussion though? A whole new project or exercise? Anyway - not to worry. The thread got hijacked n closed and that discussion can occur on http://www.mmortsgamers.com now - im sure many will have valid points.

Oh and regarding low membership. Sites been up a month and has 3 devs teams registered and players. And im sure more will come as the three soon to be betas we are following will be released. And we have the top saga player, top bp players and one of the top Time of defiance players on board.

Game related content n help files are on the way :)

Maybe you don't mean to, but you come off as being very arrogant. Spring is not MMO Material. It would require damn near an entire rewrite to the renderer, the mapping code, etc etc, etc

I do not see myself as that condescending. I am merely speaking appropriately as someone who comes from my station in life and society. I do not always speak in such a way but I do enjoy it.
