Yes, a couple things broke up when Spring jumped from 74b3 to 75b2, such as the AI and the LUA widget. I'm updating KP right now, as well as fixing other issues. But it might takes me some times before release because I want to redo the installer as well.
To fix the AI issue, simply replace \AI\Bot-libs\NTai.dll by the one from: http://spring.unknown-files.net/file/33 ... e-release/
Edit: actually, that version of NTai has some huge problems. So currently, the only way to have Kernel Panic working in Single Player, is to install it over Spring 74b3 instead of the most recent 74b2. If you only do single player, that should be no problem to use an outdated spring version.

Kernel Panic 1.5!

- Fixed the things like widget and AI that aren't compatible between 74b3 and 75b2.
- Hopefully fixed all shots and effects textures so they display correctly on any video card.
- Changed the method used to draw the link beam so that ONS mode is now playable without bringing Spring crawling to its knee.
- Made a standalone installer, so you can install it even on a PC that never had seen Spring before.

ILMTitan: Sadly the NTai of that version has some huge performance problem. Come play online instead!
Thanks OOmiz. But why did you had to lock your battleroom?
And because pictures sells:
Kernel Panic 1.5!

I'd update the first post, but I can't help but think that this

has almost nothing to do with the KP that I envisioned design and that KDR_11k made, so I'm not very motivated to spend time working on it.
Horses, goatse labs, heart-rays, bugs, dune-worms, pointless graphical effects with no connection to gameplay? I liked KP when it was pure, graphically simplistic RTS goodness. Now it's just a random mod with some strange looking units and maps.
edit: what I meant to say was: if someone writes an updated OP for this thread, i'll gladly change it. But I won't spend the hour or so doing it myself.

I would like source code so I can make a working Linux package. The idea is that in Ubuntu Gutsy you should be able to easily install a complete, working kernel panic from the Add Applications menu.
I need to work quickly, as packages are due on the 30th.
See this thread for more details: http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=11540
