Perhaps cutting back the Krow's health and giving it regen? After all, when damaged the damn thing takes a year to pull back to the repair pad. Then the slow, painful swarming of fighters would be less severe than the sudden damage of mashing into an anti-air line. That would balance things out... but would relegate it to a support-role rather than an assault role. I don't know if that's a great approach.Peekaboom wrote:What are everyone's thoughts on the Core Krow? I agree it needed an improvement, but they are nearly unkillable in numbers. What works well against them? Must be TONS of stealth fighters because ground defenses don't last long at all against a few krows.
Personally, I'd like see the health of the krow cut back quite a bit but have its damage output increased.
I like that idea. It makes it different from most planes where you send them off to raid / bomb and don't have high expecations of them returning. If the health is low, you can't just send the Krow into a pack of flakkers or fighters unsupported. However, you can do some damage and still be able to pull out to repair and come back again.Perhaps cutting back the Krow's health and giving it regen?
SAM batteries when massed, mercuries/screamers and stealth fighters. What are everyone's thoughts on the Core Krow? I agree it needed an improvement, but they are nearly unkillable in numbers. What works well against them?

cutting its hp and giving it regen decreases the need for apm for krow.
I dont see it with proper socuting. Figters eat em for free and FLAK veh too. Just have 10 of them mixed with other units and watch some crows die. If u mix flak with big units like bulldog, crows hardly hurt flak.Sleksa wrote:so there is no problem really ~_~
You shouldn't have to pay "the cost of several crows"... Crows are an air unit, if you know they are coming you should be able to mount a cost effective counter that makes the enemy waste more cash buying the crows then you waste developing the counter.Sleksa wrote:SAM batteries when massed, mercuries/screamers and stealth fighters. What are everyone's thoughts on the Core Krow? you can pretty much get all of these with the cost of several krows ~_~

neddiedrow├óÔÇ×┬ó approved! We can deal with them - cost effectively. Tired can pull it with very little in terms of resources if I recall... and even I can do it with a third of the resources.
