Just post ideas suggestions and what you really do think core prime would be like and why you think so.
You said "Core Prime", not "Metal Planet". Core Prime should look like the Cavedog artists intented it to look.
I don't give a flying fuck what Core Prime looked like in TA. IN REALITY what do you think an all metal world would look like,
This is another, different question.
How do you ppl continually miss the point? [...] And stop derailing my thread, it's fricking annoying.
I was trying to help, it's not fault, but yours, that you suddently changed topic. Or expressed yourself wrongly initially, but I don't think it's the case, because despite what you said later, your initial post in your thread show that you do care about what it looked in TA. Why would you have kept the exact two-linked-cones shape in your first picture otherwise?
BTW some of the reasons to use metal heck as an example:
1. people can easily relate to it
Yes, when you'll name a map "metal heck", people will expect to see metal heck. And they'll be angry if they get something else. Hence my comment about how you shouldn't name maps after TA maps. Oh and more generally, either you strive to make it as close as possible as the original, either you do something original, but I just hate when people copy whithout respecting the original. That's a general statment, for books, movies, etc... But when applied to metal map, that means either stick to the TA style, either go a for a style related in no way to the TA style, but no inbetween.
AND, BTW it would have an atmosphere by default, otherwise the water for example would NEVER be liquid.
Such realism is irrelevant. It's a videogame, not a thesis on exoplanets. Beside with a little imagination, you can find hundred of sci-fi explanation of why they'd be liquid on an atmosphereless planet.
