The problem in Spring is that "Comm dead = Game continues" became the standard way of playing.Hellspawn wrote:If you don't like comm bombing, play comm end?
For example, in a 2v2, when one of the team mates dies, you no longer have much hope of winning just dragging on the game until final defeat, while if it was "Game ends", you could still hope much more.

ends licks imo. I like to use my comm as an assault unit. every game without fail on the supcom map my com makes an exciting beach landing and gets some use out of his d-gun, builds some defences and a bot lab before speeding away. comms need to be horrible to lose yes (they are) but not game stopping. that bring the whole "20 mins in cloak and hide my com" thing. the com should be a weapon!

Just make sure everyone knows it's comm ends at the start. Say things like "HEY ENEMY, I AM GOING TO EXPLODE YOUR COMM SO YOUR WHOLE BASE EXPLODES BECAUSE COMM ENDS IS ON!"ZellSF wrote:Commander ends just doesn't work.
