It's no UV-mapping that you are doing either, its probably planar mapping.

Go get Uvmapper Classic. It's free. It doesn't suck. It's easy to use. And it has instructions!
I am getting veeeeeeeery tired of repeating myself. I should probably rebuild the tutorials in the Wiki, but people like Dinamik here aren't bothering to read them, either, apparantly.
