Texturing them indeed is quite annoying because of the uv map. Anyway I started out with a tank for a start...

Screens taken in upspring, so the texture is a bit better than what you can see but still too wishy washy. Will redo the camo stuff (turret/body) however, should be able to get something nicer than that.
